(MUSE) Festival riot trio to await sentence

THREE teenagers admitted fuelling riots that put the long-term future of Leeds Festival in jeopardy.
Eighteen year old Colin Prescott, Christopher Cowell and Samuel Livingstone were seen on security videos hurling missiles at police, wielding scaffolding poles and feeding fires.
Leeds Magistrates Court heard that the trio formed part of a baying mob of about 200 festival goers caught up in the violence of the Temple Newsam site last summer.
Trouble flared at the end of a headlining set by rock act Muse which closed the three day extravaganza over August bank holiday weekend.
A hail of bottles and other objects were thrown at police officers.
Toilet blocks were overturned and set alight, lighting masts pulled down and blazes started. A total of 44 people were injured and a police officer suffered a broken nose.
