(MUSE) Celine Dion: not to be confused with Muse

NME
26th October 2002

Muse have defeated Celine Dion in the battle over their name. The French Canadian diva has backed down in her row with Muse and decided not to use the name as the title of her new Las Vegas show.
Muse claimed Celine Dion was breaking trademark rules by calling her show Muse. The band legally own the American performing rights to the name and had threatened to sue Dion.
Francine Chaloult, Dion's publicist, says the name won't now be used for the Las Vegas show. A new name will be announced soon.
