(MURDERDOLLS) GOING OUT, STAYING IN

The Scotsman

THOSE Hallowe'en masks could not contain them any longer, and lately three members of Slipknot have gone public with their features in a couple of side projects. The one which concerns us here is the superior (or, at least, the more humorous) of the two. 'Knot drummer Joey Jordison swaps his skins for guitar and his ghostly white mask for his ghostly white complexion in Murderdolls, a glam metal band with a sideline in B-movie splattercore imagery. One should never judge a song by its title, unless that title is She was a Teenage Zombie, Twist My Sister and Grave Robbing USA or another of the many delightful paeans to torture and mutilation on their Beyond the Valley of the Murderdolls album
("presented in Horror-fi Stereo")
