Musing over the big time

MELODIC three-piece rockers Muse, tipped to be the first Devon band to break through nationally, have signed a promotion deal with Sawmill Studios in Cornwall.
Following their appearances at In The City in Manchester and the 100 Club in London, the band is apparently being hotly pursued by several British and American record companies.
They've even made it into the national music press, with Darren Johns, of NME saying the band is 'exceptional and utterly worthy' of attention.
You can find out why for yourself when they play the Wharf, Tavistock on Friday.
Supporting them will be the (formerly) Leafy chaps of 11:11 and their quirky brand of power pop.
 8pm start, entry £3.
