(SLIPKNOT) Slip into town for latest CD

Banbury Guardian
Thursday 23rd August 2001

To mark the release of the new Slipknot album, Record Savings in White Lion Walk, Banbury, will have a midnight opening on Sunday.
The Iowa album will hit music stores on Monday and local fans can get their copy first with Record Savings' special hour-long opening. The shop itself is one of 20 in the country to hold the special opening.
Slipknot, whose music ranges from the thought-provoking to the terrifying, is made up of DJ Sid Wilson, drummer Joey Jordison, bassist Paul Grey, percussionist Chris Fehn, guitarist James Root, sampler Craig Jones, percussionist Shawn Crahan, guitarist Mick Thomson and singer Corey Taylor.
As an incentive for people to get into the spirit of things, the album will be held on the night at £9.99 (discount of £3) to people who dress up Slipknot-style for the event - the band are famous for wearing masks and boiler suits.
